Can this issue please be taken care of once and for all? This is ridiculous. They just move around in the neighborhoods. Tow them if they don't move - we don't want this in our neighborhood. PLEASE HANDLE THIS

This is the same RV that parked in my side yard over the weekend. Got them to leave yesterday and it looks like they just went up the street.

I reported this on the 23rd and the 2nd RV which arrived the day I filled out the initial report and which Emily chased off her property (as noted earlier) is still there at the park. Other than seeing my complaint changed from camping to illegal parking and watching it get kicked around the various associated city employees to finally be assigned to TPD I've seen nothing happen. I am beginning to believe that this site should more or less be called "Tukwila Doesn't Work". For a city that has on it's books how many cars can be parked in a yard, I'm surprised there isn't a 72 hour parking limit within the city limits. However even if there is one, it does NOT seem to matter as other than a canned message thanking me for my participation, there has not been any notable effort to roust, move or otherwise vacate these CAMPERS. While I understand we live in a "lest we offend' county and city, I still see no need for these individuals to be parking here. KOA offers camp sites and apparently our bigger sister, the City of Seattle, welcomes these RV CAMPERS with open arms. Perhaps I should start taking the same approach with paying my taxes. Or better yet, I'll just start dumping my trash at the parks or on 115th by the river. Apparently the city doesn't care so why should I?

Something needs to be done. While we want everyone to feel welcome, squatters are taking advantage of our lax enforcement. What happens a year from now, after they have told their friends how free it is to live here. Taxes, HOA fees, public works and such... When will those be free for all?

I was told by another neighbor that calling the non emergency police number would be more effective. It is 206 433 1808. They came out fairly quick but the people inside the RV did not answer the door. I knew they were in there too! Since it was private property, we had the right to have it towed. Easier said than done. My partner warned the people in the RV, and called several places with no luck so he made a pretend phone call where the people could hear him and made it sound like the tow truck would be there in 45 minutes. They started that thing up and got out of there in the next half-hour. It will be more difficult to get them out of the spot they are in now.
