I performed a site inspection this morning (9/7) around 10 AM. We had approximately 0.54 inches of rain in the preceding 24 hours. I did not witness any pooling of water along the curb at the addresses cited at the time of my visit. I also extended my inspection along the entire blocks between Ridgefield and West Lawrence. The street is relatively flat in the 825 block and I believe it does take some time for runoff to completely drain to catch basins or infiltrate between curb and road pavement. We will continue to monitor and I would ask that you contact the AWD Dispatch number at 518-434-5322 if there appears to be an extended period of ponding after a rain event or if you witness excessive ponding leading to icing in cold weather.
