Dear Ms. Murphy,
All genealogical searches involve a fee of $22.00 per record / search. You would need to go to our website and upload the form (http://www.albanyny.gov/Government/Departments/CityClerk/VitalStatistics/Forms.aspx ) complete it and mail in a money order payable in US currency. I have not heard of any free reputable sites providing this information and it typically takes us two to three months to process genealogical requests.
