Lisa - this issue was first reported in June, after many months of just dealing with it. If nothing is going to be done, at least let me know I'm wasting my time.

The owner was in here for a hearing a few months ago. Are there new issues?

Nothing has changed! There is still junk all over the yard. Trash behind the shed. Garbage bags sitting in front of the house for weeks. There is animal waste all over the back yard and there are young children playing. The deck is a hazard without the pool because there are no railings. The police have been called because there are people in and out of the house at all hours of the day and night that do not live there. We strongly believe that drugs are being sold from this location. The police informed me they can't do anything because someone visiting isn't illegal. There are young (under the age of 5) children living in this home and are often seen unsupervised in the yard and street. They have been seen leaving without using car seats. If the outside of the house is this bad, I'm sure the health department should inspect the interior. If you aren't the right source, please direct me to the correct one.

We are the right source for the trash and animal waste. The issues concerning the children should be brought to the attention of The Department of Children and Families. As far as the interior of the home is concerned the Health Department cannot go in unless the homeowner grants access or we have a court order. With that being said, I will send an inspector out to see the current situation and I will notify the Building Dept. regarding the deck.

A notice will go out to the owner for the trash bags under the pool deck, the assorted debris falling out of the shed, and the miscellaneous items under the deck. The deck structure has been referred to the Building Department.

The owner has until Friday, October 6th to correct the violations.

This issue has been referred to the Law Department.

Please close this issue. Home sold to a developer, remodeled, cleaned up and was then re-sold sold to new owners in May, 2019, who are doing a great job with upkeep and new landscaping. Thanks.
