The waterfront bike/walking path is generally very bumpy and has significant cracks across it all the way along. Very hard to bike on!

This pathway has had these expansion cracks since before I started working here in 1995 and we have been requesting fund for repairs for years along with the lights.
The good news is both the money for the lights and pathway repairs have been funded. The light replacement project design is almost complete and I am hearing construction will happen early spring 2018. Since the path may need to be dug up and damaged by that work we are waiting for the lighting project to be complete before repaving.
If we have a pot hole or tripping hazard please contact me and I will get it temporary repair done. I can only speak for the property which is under the Parks Division to maintain. This starts at the Doolittle bridge and runs west and ends at the Ferry terminal.
Thanks
John McDonald
