Description

The sidewalk on MLK at 35th Street is now completely blocked by items from the homeless encampment there, as is the curb lane of the street, requiring all pedestrians (including seniors, children, and parents with strollers) to have to walk completely into the street in order to pass. This is always dangerous, but even more so now that it gets dark later and stays dark longer. PLEASE work with the folks living in the encampment to ensure that the sidewalk is always passable. I've seen several close calls with cars and pedestrians, and I don't want the city to wait until someone gets hit to act.
