I will think the trash company will move all the space savers on trash day

This is a Boston law Chelsea doesn’t have a law on this

I think due to the amount of snow that is still piled up the person or persons that shovled the spot is still owed that parking space, if anything the city should begin to remove these large amounts of snow first, the weather is going to get better so let’s hope some of this snow will melt.

I heard from an employee at city hall that it's 48 hours. So if I need a spot, anywhere in the city tonight, your space saver is going in the garbage. GAME ON!

the city is going to start to remove all those space savers very soon .

I would recommend that people take a look at how many reports there were for vandalism/assaults to cars this past weekend due to space savers in Chelsea. I believe from last count it was over a dozen, including actual fights in the streets. In a city like Chelsea where moving someone's space saver could possible result in death, I would say it may be time to end the practice.

The Department of Public Works will begin removing parking savers the morning of Thursday January 11, 2018. Any trash left on the streets after this day will be picked up and removed by the DPW throughout our normal operating day.
