Deskripsyon

At the end of Huntington road, on the cul de sac, there is an emergency access road to Raynham Hill condos, to be used only for emergency personnel. There was a chain there to block regular traffic. Someone has removed it and now there is a lot of traffic on Huntington Rd. coming to and from the condos. This has happened many times in the past and we have complained. That is not an access road for regular Raynham Hilll Condo residents.Please put the chain back up as soon as possible. thank you.

This complain might be best addressed by the management of the Raynham Hill Condos. Do they own the service road drive way? I believe they do. If so, then they would have the authority to allow or restrict residents from entering and exiting through this road. I doubt city officials can help resolve this issue.

When they built the condos, that access road was meant only for emergency personnel. There is a sign posted there saying so right now. So someone needs to put the gate back up. I will contact nhpd as we have done in the past.

I hope the nhpd will not only close the gate but speak to the condo management to prevent their residence from using that access road. Huntington isn't a road made for high traffic the way Townsend ave is. Also raising the issue at the East Shore Management Team meetings (2nd tuesday of each month at the Morris Cove Fire House at 7:00) might be helpful in gaining the support of leaders/city officials with more clout.
