Geographic Location of Situation: On west side of Beach Street adjacent to its southbound lane, beneath the I-580 overpass, at the northern end of the continuous concrete "jersey barrier" that separates the Beach Street roadway from the support piers of the multiple I-580 freeway overpass structures.

Try contacting the Oakland PWD Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Right of Way Management 238-3651. Its incredible how much pro bono public input is required to get these public servants to do there jobs.

I've spoken with City of Oakland Call Center this morning and they are now aware of Caltrans' shifting of the responsibility for this issue back to the City.

There’s no need for you to contact the city because Caltrans will take care of this issue and let you know when it’s completed.

Having fun its like chasing your own tail. Without all the citizens using SCF and CSR even less would get done. If possible.

New sand barrels have been installed (for over a week now). Not sure if Caltrans or the City did it, but thank you!
