Can the City of Vallejo please configure SCF to behave this way?

Oakland gives a similar response ie: Follow ups, date it was corrected, and by who.

Please City of Vallejo make these changes. It will help relieve the frustration with the perceived lack of action.

I am concerned to see SCF used for retaliatory purposes and then watch as comments pour in that further the harm to the victim. How can that be addressed so that SCF is not again used inappropriately and to harm? Several examples exist, one is recent, all are “content blocked based upon rejection” so that should help those who commented on them to remember. SCF has been used by people who intend to target and harass, this is an issue that is currently being discussed in the SCF “support center” as they are dealing with at least one active case here in Vallejo. How do we indicate that an issue is amongst that nature and limit the casual commentary on those. Seriously hurt a family this past week and am interested in seeing this never occur again.

Gee whiz (can't get censored for that can I?), there we go sliding away from the point again. How can new versions of the SeeClickFix App help get better responsiveness from City Hall? What good will SeeClickFix Support Center studies do to get attention from large, well-funded City agencies who KNOW what the City needs, DON'T CARE what the citizens think, and will BEND OVER BACKWARD to avoid listening to our requests? Why am I even bothering?

The overwhelming majority of our City budget goes to a couple of small groups of self-serving individuals, who simply don't care! This is not a democracy! Download your new App, go get a cup of coffee, and accept it.

I have often asked about SeeClickFix abandoned vehicle reporting. They have two complaint functions on SeeClickFix, one for abandoned/inoperative vehicles on city streets and another for abandoned/inoperative vehicles on private property. My first experience with the abandoned vehicles on city streets, was a response from the city that my complaints should be reported to either the VPD website or the hotline phone number. So my question (which has never been answered) is why does SeeClickFix have this abandoned vehicle complaint function, if we get referred to the website or the hotline number? Simply remove it from the SeeClickFix platform, and remove the confusion. Oh and you can forget abandoned vehicles on private property, as the city can't even keep up with the abandoned vehicles on city streets. Another problem that the hotline phone number (648-4682), is the voice mailbox often gets full and cannot accept anymore messages, which makes reporting difficult.

I have had positive experiences with SCF, a pothole close to the front of my house fixed within a week, trash dumped nearby that has been cleared up within days, my street light was fixed within days.
The abandoned vehicles seems to be the biggest ongoing issue, which is also an issue on my block, and lacking results. Vallejo is loaded with them due to the lack of action taken, the longer it goes on the more time and manpower it will take to clear up this problem.
Then there are the homeless encampments that are continuing to grow in numbers and locations.
Both of these problems clearly do not have but desperately need a plan of action and continuous monitoring before it becomes widespread and out of control again, once it's cleaned up that is.......
Homeless are trashing the city with their messes, abandoned vehicles are clogging up the city streets. These issues just continue to grow. I'm lucky to find a pkg spot in front of my owned house that I pay taxes on. Frustrating.

If only the police and government officials could and would enforce our laws. Living around blight and such lack of enforcement is what is holding Vallejo behind other well kept cities. This should be Solano counties jewel.

Absolutely, this is the place for non-emergencies. If it's a real emergency your concerned about, then you need to go to the folks who really control our city and its budget - the public employee unions, and the realtors.
