Deskripsyon

Would love to see a pedestrian paseo or shortcut for people that live in the neighborhood north of the Curtola Park & Ride. As a resident of that area, I have to walk all the way to Lemon St and make basically a giant half circle when I use the Park&Ride. Creating a pathway for pedestrians on Sperry or Evans would greatly reduce walking time to the buses. To visitors, all they see is a wall coming into Vallejo. We want to be welcoming.

That would be great, best of luck. You remember the wooden pedestrian bridge just a bit further down Curtola Prkwy, it was condemned and then collapsed. Are there plans or funds to replace it anytime soon? We can’t even afford to get a majority of the roads paved properly. Perhaps the “Participatory Budget Program” would be a good start for this.

I will forward to our Capital Improvement Group to add to the list of potential projects to plan for upcoming budget.

There is another opening at Beach Street on the other end, it may be just as far as using Lemon Street depending on where in the subdivision you live.

As high as our taxes are, why aren’t there funds to add, repair or replace any infrastructure? No money for schools, Police, etc., Where is the money going?
