Description
The roadway was re-surfaced recently (4-5 months ago?). I am surprised that it is already badly crumbling. I have no doubt that the potholes will re-appear. I thought this was supposed to be a permanent fix. Am I incorrect? In addition, the potholes just south of this area are already coming back. Isn't it about time for a permanent fix for this area?

Could you please tell us what the work order involves? I hope it’s not a another patch job which we all know is all too temporary.
Thanks.

HOLLY MILL FOLKS - Drop a line to Councilman Estes and let's get this roadway fixed for good and not just patched haphazardly. Here is what I had to say to Nick:

Subject: From one of you campaign donors - action needed for Prominence Point Pky/Keeter Rd area
Dear Councilman Estes:
Although this 'fix' is being looked into by the City, as a donor to your campaign ($200), I would like your assurance that the City takes the matter seriously.
Having our Councilman take a good look should make a big difference in getting things taken in hand.
Work has been done on this stretch of road before but it seems to be ineffective in getting us a decent roadway. I and a lot of Holly Mill folks drive on it every day.
Did the contractor do a bad job? Use inferior materials?
Anyway, Nick, this stretch of roadway needs a good look and then a more permanent fix than what it has been getting.
Can you please ride herd on this issue and make sure the City gets the matter some attention and a fix that will last longer than a few months.

I don't know what the work order was supposed to entail, but I just drove by the area and it appears that nothing has been done, let alone that the job is complete. The newly paved area is still crumbling and the potholes to the south of the paved area are not filled. I cannot agree that this issue is "closed".
Thank you.

Closing account was dumb. I would have said so yesterday but it seems I was blocked or deleted from this site. I think I am back on now as I re-registered.
Did those 'fixing' the road not do it correctly? Why is this still an ongoing issue, the roadway needs to be fixed correctly, lots of deterioration on PPP, it isn't going to fix itself.
