why dont we put up the british flag instead ? unless it is a defect wont the wind starighten it out eventually ?

Its not appropriate flag etiquette to fly flags of multiple sovereign nations on the same pole and when on separate poles, they should always be at the same level.

I would assume, based on the calendar, Anonymous is referring to the light post decorative Irish flag banners that are put up near St. Patrick's day honoring Irish tradition- ? Or is it a flown flag at a government building, Anonymous?
