Seeing no cleanup action by the end of June at 527 W. Wolcott Ave. in Windsor, the town opted to hire a contractor to clean up the yard that had become a neighborhood eyesore after the death of its owner several months ago. Assistant Town Manager Emily Moon said Bank of America owns the property and is proceeding with foreclosure, and also that the town hopes to recover the cost of the cleanup either through already assessed fines or by applying a bill to the property as a lien.
