Since all the rains, the Lakepark trail has badly deteriorated. This is the trail that starts at Rushingbrook Drive above the swim club and goes all the way to the asphalt trail from the Sertoma parking lot just above the lake.

The particular section of the Greenway trail is primary used to benefit the various swim teams that meet for the swim team competition at the swim club mentioned in the original report. The "steel walkway bridge" was a boondoggle when Federal money was available to foster "make-work" projects.
As a runner and a cyclist who actually uses this trail, any repairs should be on a low-low priority if ever made.
