Description

8 inch circular hole, bounded by a metal ring, off-center inside the intersection; no cover; not a manhole. Has been open for at least a couple of weeks--have noticed while riding my bicycle. Today, I measured its diameter with a ruler & found the round hole to be around 8 inches in diameter. Using a yardstick, I found that the hole is deeper than a yardstick, possibly a pipe of some kind. Will try to send a photo. Dangerous.
