There is a need for a fundamental review of the drainage and streets in Rice Military. The property tax income from this area with the high house density should enable a proper fix, not like the recent partial street recover bandaid.

How about sidewalks, drainage, parking and streets that don’t have standing water everywhere. Too much to ask. Let’s be ambitious for a great neighborhood and while they are redoing the streets maybe the utility and power lines can go underground as well.

To add insult to injury, the yellow house on the corner of Cohn and Tyne, in the original posters photo, that house and lot was just sold. Guaranteed it’s been sold to a developer and they’ll tear the single home down and put up 3 more townhomes further exacerbating the flooding. I wonder if the new buyer knows they’ll have to build the new homes 4-6 feet above the ground so the new houses don’t flood?

this problem is common in the entire neighborhood. All Residents need to help with this but most don't and won't. People are reactive instead of proactive regarding our flooding. Since we have no relief in sight if you see trash pick it up, keep ditches clear of grass and weeds, keep storm drains clear of leaves and trash. Found three street drains completed blocked at 1624 Utah, 6010 Truro, and 1250 Utah. If you are not impacted today you will be eventually because there is still a lot of development being done in this neighborhood so help us now in trying to mitigate the issue since city has yet to give us a start date on helping us. Be a good neighbor.
