Thank you for your concern. Activity during the day our unusual tameness may be a sign of disease, but not typically rabies. More commonly, raccoons can be infected with canine distemper. If you notice a location that raccoons are feeding or nesting, please provide us with specific location information so that we can investigate. If you have problems with raccoons on your property, you can contact an licensed animal trapper for assistance.
