At 401 Oberlin Apartments, there is a POD parked on the Stafford Avenue side in the no parking zone for almost 3 weeks now. It blocks the line sight of the many pedestrians from the restaurant.

From an RPD sergeant:
I went and spoke with the management at the 401 Apartments off Oberlin Rd. I advised them of the situation involving the POD storage container and the manager was aware of the tenant who had the POD but she didn’t realize that it was still on the street. According to the manager it was only supposed to be there for a few days why the new tenant moved into their apartment.
The manager advised me and proceeded to call the tenant while I was standing there to advise them that the police department was letting them know it was a city ordinance violation for the storage container and they also had it parked in a “No Parking Zone” and it needed to be moved right away.
I will continue to monitor the POD to make sure it’s moved within a appropriate time frame or charge the resident in possession of the POD.
