I have long thought there should be a full traffic signal at this intersection. Given that there are already lights at Summit and Kingsley, this would not impede Main Street traffic at all, but it would be a huge help (and major safety improvement) to pedestrians trying to cross Main, as well as drivers turning left from Felch onto Main. But a crosswalk would be better than nothing.

The section of Main Street from Huron Street to M-14 is under the jurisdiction of the Michigan Department of Transportation.
