  I had the same experience reporting this same incident. I agree that one call should be all that is needed. The run around and lack of ability to contact anyone in the city who will make the effort to help is appalling.

  Its never worked very well. They used to forward to OFD dispatch who would send out a crew, then there sometimes someone at PWD that were taking the calls now nothing. What if one of the many speeding and reckless drivers came across this. injuries , lawsuits? Something has to change.

  You should let Sabrina Jones know about this She manages the call center. I am certain this was not the appropriate response.

  I have talked to Sabrina Jones a few time over procedural issues. The last was a conference call with her and 7 seven call center employees on how to handle hazardous waste going into a storm drain. This occurred after I saw are report of red fluid being dumped out a 55 gallon drum into the storm. The call center did not know how to refer the call. I ended up bringing in Alameda Co Environmental health and OES. I should not have to do there jobs for them. My Pro Bono plate is pretty full.
