I am not satisfied with this result. Did you even come and look at. It’s to close and it should not matter if it’s been there a while or not. I am reporting now because I feel the new homeowners would be understanding about the situation. We have lived in our home for 22 years. That house had had numerous renters and one built that deck while he was a tenant there. My husband spoke to him about it being to close and he ignored him and kept on building it. The pool is green all year long and the last renters in July drained this horrible smelling water into our yard with a hose. This response from your department makes us want to move

Sorry you had trouble hearing me, but what I said is we, homeowners, tax payers can never get any help from the county. Your law protects the person in the wrong, no wonder people are moving south. Houses are too expensive around here to have to live near junk built by your fence.

Just thought you should know the county can only follow codes and regulations. If the structure was built many years ago longer than three years ago, there’s nothing they can do. Maybe put up a divider between it if that helps you sorry you couldn’t get better results. But I can tell you AA County has done an awesome job keeping up with as much as they have to with people who don’t take care of their properties, weeds, trash, Alleys, abandoned vehicles, animals, people, weeded lots Abandoned properties, plus maintaining the roads and highways, what are Complaints, Rodent Complaints, Much much more we couldn’t even imagine. This one complete cannot speak for the whole AA county government. I know for one they spent hundreds and thousands of dollars back in the belle Grove community. They follow up on every complaint, and do what they legally can do the rest of ties their hands. Sorry you’re having this issue.

Debby, thank you for your concern and taking the time to write to me. I am going to try some other avenues to get some help with this.
