Yes JW, but actually also a menace to others in the neighborhood - it’s a quick route out of the neighborhood down to a busy street below. The latest empty Amazon box is from several houses down.

Please close this immediately! I was shocked to see this hidden passage here and immediately felt for my neighbors who have to deal with it! This is the perfect getaway path for thieves (evidenced by the photo). I've seen some very shady people coming out of there into our quiet neighborhood. How many more incidents need to happen for this to be closed? - I'm very concerned!

This is a public access issue, Grounds can clean up the pathway which is meant for the walking public and to make it easier for citizens to walk through the neighborhood and walk children to school.

This is an issue that must be reviewed by Planning so they can decide how we move forward.

I do want to make the point though, since you mentioned it... This is NOT a place where children should be walking to school, and no parent should be encouraging their children to walk through a secluded place like this where they could be assaulted, exposed to drugs, and in general make it easier for someone to prey on them.
In addition, the locations of the schools or businesses around here do not make this a needed or convenient route. I don’t see any pressing need for anyone to get through here given that Greenfield & Fleming are so close...again, this is far more a menace to the neighborhood than an asset!!

TRIM THE TREE THAT BLOCKS THE STREETLIGHT TO START! THEN FIX THE BROKEN CONCRETE THAT IS A HAZARD TO THE PEOPLE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD WHO DUE USE THIS SHORTCUT

I am looking further into blocking access to this easement. Our crews are scheduled to relieve the walkway tripping hazards and will remove the tree because of its interference of the overhead utility wires and close proximity to the fire hydrant.
