Deskripsyon

Wasn't it 6-7 months ago that were we told that a clean out of homeless camps along railroad tracks through the City were beginning near Highway 37 and Lewis Brown Drive and would be completed within two months -- and paid for by the owner and user of those tracks?

How come then that according to today's (10/17) Times Herald: "A team of law enforcement officials, Solano County workers, and various homeless advocates visited about a dozen homeless encampments in Vallejo on Tuesday offering support services, and that "Pratt made his comments along a railroad track which runs underneath California State Route 37, near Lewis Brown Drive — an area that usually contains a tent city for the homeless." and that "Pratt added that the operation is not meant to clear encampments, but let the homeless know they are on private property and to also provide resources."

A good effort, but started only yesterday, with no clean-out, and no (reported) railroad funding -- but nice roady jackets.
