I live in the Chesterfield neighborhood in Pasadena, Maryland which was built in the 80’s. My community just like many built in this era have old dilapidated C&P green metal phone boxes throughout the neighborhood.

I am also a volunteer that serves on the HOA Board here. Our property management company recently made contact with Comcast regarding the plastic cable boxes that are in need of repair but the phone boxes are not something they service. Are the phone boxes now the property of Verizon? Has your department handled questions regarding defunct phone boxes? If so, please pass the information along to me so we can call to have them removed. Not only are they an eyesore, they also are a trip hazard and many are open for small children to injur themselves.
