How is it that this long standing and now growing impromptu junkyard is allowed to continue to blight this neighborhood in the middle of the city??
What can be done about this?
Seriously.

This eyesore has been allowed to stand for several years now.
It is long past due to serve the property owners some sort of legal action that compels them to clean this up. I’m sure Rathes would be more than happy to take these old junks away. This can be solved in about an hour with two tow trucks.
I know this has been reported time and time again. It is time the City get off its duff and take action. There are areas of BTV that this would never have been left for so long...hint hint.
What does it take to solve this? I’m sure I can rally neighbors. Cmon public works, we can do this:)
