I know that you have many traffic concerns to consider but perhaps knowing that a number of seniors, many disabled, use this intersection everyday. I also understand that the cost of a traffic signal is outside the realm of discussion at this point. Perhaps though, a multitude of traffic bumps would be enough to discourage racing through the intersection. Thank you for considering my suggestion.
