You have to use the cement planters. They are too heavy to carry. I learned my lesson just like you. Not that it is acceptable for people to steal our plants. But this is a corrupt, creepy city where anything goes.

More concrete.... Just what new haven needs. I was trying to help green things up out there, I didn't think I had to bolt down my shrubs. Funny thing is, I had been trying to cover some holes in the sidewalk for saftey. Speaking of which, spmewhat related, under much of the new haven are original cobble stone, it can be seen here and there where the curbs are missing. The old blue stone curbs are 2" under the layers of asphalt in front of my house. I can see them peeking out from where the plows ate my sidewalk. Can't win I guess. Cobblestone sure would slow down traffic on Q ave. good luck hanging wheelies then.... So many issues.
