  This us a dangerous ongoing problem. Trees marked with blue X have been marked for over a year. With each storm we have downed trees blocking roads and heavy dead branches littering the street making driving hazardous.

  There are now trees marked by the local fire house as ‘Fire Hazards’.

  Please, please take action on this dangerous situation before someone is injured or killed!

  I have submitted a tree survey of city tress in Skyline Bkvd from Redwood Road to Parkridge to Oak311. It lists 58 trees visibly dead, 27 trees marked by the Oakland Fire Department as fire hazards, 115 trees dropping rotten limbs. Tree number 1356 at 11990 Skyline which was noted as dead, dying and leaning had a major failure in Dec 15th. Luckily it did not fall on any structures or cars but did block a driveway with lungs as big as 24” in diameter.
  Trees along the sidewalk adjacent to Skyline High School (trees 1176-1228) are dead, dying and dropping limbs which are a serious danger to students.
