Unfortunately neither APD nor the city government in general is interested in enforcing laws and does not care about the residents of this island. the only thing they care about is getting an easy big paycheck subsidized by our tax dollars

Clearly nothing has been done. Residents have to stand in the rain while this person is taking advantage of a structure that was built for a specific purpose and has declared their own version of eminent domain.

apd likes to sweep issues under the rug a lot. i have some neighbors who have been harassing me for an entire year and apd not only lets them get away with it but even leaked my personal info to them to help them stalk and harass me. apd doesnt enforce laws and they dont care about the residents of this island. all they care about is a big easy paycheck subsidized by our tax dollars

Unfortunately, APD cannot do anything, it has been ruled illegal/unjust to tell homeless people to leave the area unless they can find a place for them in the shelter. Homeless persons are extremely protected. Welcome to California...

Jesiqs its not just homeless its any issue at all. APD will not enforce laws period. Ive reported so many different crimes on this island this past year and they havent stopped a single one of them. bottom line is that they just do not care

I think they do. But just like in Oakland with OPD their hands are tied by further up politics and new laws, rules and regulations. Theres not much PDs are allowed to di anymore which is why Alameda us turning into the same dump Oakland is
