Description

Marlborogh Terrace going down towards Grizzly peak blvd
deep enough biker flipping over, axle rods breaking and tires popping please fill in the potholes if it can not be resurface

OAK 311 has received this issue. Your service request ID is #891336. Thank you, in advance, for your patience as we work through a backlog of pothole service requests. Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition. With limited funding, our response to resurfacing requests is limited to minor pavement and pothole repairs only. Our Street Maintenance Department will assess your street and determine whether temporary measures might be appropriate. Please understand that this work may be limited to pothole or other minor repairs, and that we have many similar requests. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner. The backlog of streets in Oakland needing pavement currently is $435 million and growing.

Please get Marlborough on the list for repaving. It is THE worst street in the neighborhood, and it is a vital means of egress for this neighborhood in case of an emergency. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE repair this street, not just filling a few holes (that doesn't even last an entire season), really FIX it.

I nearly ran into another vehicle trying to avoid the extremely large and very deep potholes. These now extend nearly the entire way up Marlboro to the stop sign at Grizzly Peak and can no longer be avoided and present a serious danger to property and LIFE! Please replace the entire road before you kill someone!

A car moved into my lane on a blind car because it was trying to evade a pothole. This is a dangerous street. Marlborough needs emergency repaving. Not band-aid patches. Someone is going to be badly hurt if it is not fixed.
