Make Fletchers clean it up

Honestly it's a full on assault of our neighborhood. The glass in my windows was rattling until after midnight. Helicopter hovering overhead, cars streaming down my street with noise blasting, sirens going off every five minutes, police lights flashing through my windows, I felt like I was in a combat zone. Where can a citizen of Gainesville see the costs incurred due to Fletcher's bar after party on Sunday nights? I would like to know how much of our taxpayer money goes into trying to police this mayhem.

not to mention the open containers, open drug use, public urination, noise violations, etc.. It's completely out of control.

The trash debris on NW 6TH ST/Pleasant street neighborhood has been forwarded to PW ROW staff to invesitgate and address under service request number 17689 and this request is now closed. I can save the staff the time and money of an investigation. It's the crowd of young folks that comes over after "peaceful Sundays" at TB McPherson. They come to socialize, and visit Fletchers, and show off their cars and stereos, which is all fine as long as they do it legally. What's not fine is the total lack of respect for the area they are visiting. They treat our neighborhood like a dump. Either they need to get right and show some respect to our area, or the city needs to stop pouring manpower and money into babysitting them and ban this activity. Now I remember being that age and congregating in the Winn-Dixie parking lot, or under the bridge, but not for one second would I EVER have thought it was ok to do what they do to us every Sunday night.
