The other side of this building is the view from my condo balcony. My mom bought the condo years ago, and she lived there with this as the horrible view for years - very depressing. She moved in with my sister, and we tried to sell it for more than a year - no one would buy or rent with a view like that (and other problems around that area). Most of the condos on my floor facing that direction are for sale or rent. My mom couldn't keep paying the HOA on the condo, so I moved in. Very depressing.

The failure of the CofH and Midtown Management District to maintain some sense of cleanliness and freedom from vagrants, crime, unabated graffiti, and open drug usage is turning Midtown in to a slum. Few people are interested in buying or renting a property in an area where you have to step over people and human excretement on the sidewalk, aggressive panhandlers, trash and the crime that follows.
