Description

I spoke with the UDOT planner for district 2 who recommended we use click and fix to report the issues going on with i-80 and the Redwood Road on and off ramps near North Temple.

district North on Redwood Road along with another large apartment complex on North Temple have brought in almost 600 new residents. The on and off ramp for i-80 is backed up not only during rush hour traffic but during lunch time and other periods of the day.

upon review of the intersection and on and off ramp, you'll notice that there has been little investment in this area. The own and off-ramp still have temporary cement barricades by comparison to many other areas of the city.

based on my conversation with the UDOT representative, there are no plans to improve this area for the next 3 to 5 years. it's very disappointing. there is a potential form additional apartment complexes along with the high traffic to the State fairgrounds. in addition, we have loves truck stop so we have a high volume of long tractor trailers.

all that being said, can you please come out and survey. addition, it needs to include research for the additional building and population increase that will occur in the next 3 to 5 years.

enclosing, I represent the Wingate townhomes homeowners association with 92 town homes. We are located on 500 North and Redwood Road. If necessary, I would be happy to obtain signatures of a majority of our homeowners to help illustrate the concern.
