Description
This is a push-up station, yet it is installed way too high. Look at the website for the product. It should only be a few inches off the ground.

It's the bar in the middle. That's way too high to do a horizontal chin-up. This equipment is useless as installed. Please get installer to fix so our tax money isn't wasted. Thank you

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. PRCA has verified with the vendor that the equipment that you inquired about (UP189 Multi-Gym) is installed properly per manufacturer specifications. The equipment installed at this park has a different configuration than the stand-alone push-up station (UP184, shown in the link you sent), and can be used in conjunction with the plyometric box nearby for leverage while doing push-ups.
The photos you submitted were helpful, and showed a child using the equipment. Although we provide a wide spectrum of equipment at our many parks, this particular equipment is designed for use by ages 13 and up. There are instructional decals attached to the equipment which provide helpful information about its use, and age information is posted on the sign at the beginning of the fitness circuit. The vendor may need to provide us with updated equipment stickers, and PRCA staff will be following up on this.
If you notice other issues, please submit additional requests via 311GNV. Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. We appreciate your care and interest in our parks.
