This is a city park. The city has a park and creation office which is on Broadway near the skating
pond . This situation was reported 10months ago. The police has a machine that is used to clean
graffiti off of walls floors, etc. These have become immune to conditions that they don't see it.
They hear their mothers using foul language they see dope being peddled in there neighbors,
These children are grand children of the greatest generation. They have become immune to
everything that is evil and wrong. They are lost souls that can't protect themselves from what
they have to confront every day of their lives.
The children should protest in front of city hall and let the 6th floor to help them.
They need help mayor flanagan.do your job .

Here's a thought... organize a group within your community that takes pride in where you live and clean up the park yourselves.

It seems like the people complaining about this issue do not have the money to fix the park themselves because they are not rich and yes it sucks but im sure if they care enough to complain about it they would fix it themselves, but they dont have the money to do so, if only the city would help. It is not fair it makes the city look like a dump. And to be honest i spend the extra money on gas to bring my child to another park that is not in fall river, that you have to pay to visit. It sucks that in fall river you have 10-16 year old little brats who are loud and say inappropriate things, and there parents dont watch them the teeneboppers visit the parks in fall river and hang out there all day, there the ones who put grafiti on the slides and sadly enough it was probably there parents that dont care were they are who left the crack pipes and seringes. Its all about the generations but why not change it now for the parents that want to take there kids out to a nice park and care enough to say no dont tough that you might get sick. we shouldn't have to protect them so much from that stuff and follow them 2 inches away bcus they could fall on a disease infested seringe.

I believe Parks and Recreation is under buildings and grounds department. One of the Coogan's his
responsible for cleaning the parks and play grounds. He needs to get out of his office and check
out parks and play grounds. This problem was reported 11 months ago. Does the mayor know

Some here believe we taxpayer should go clean the parks so the park department personnel can get paid to sit around! The get more money a week than me and have better benefits too! I will be more than happy to clean and fix the parks with their pay and benefits!

Apparently the trash heaps that are in a deplorable condition need immediate repairs and cleaning.
This issue was reported 11 months ago. So, I will believe that the parks and maintenance crew has
fixed what ever needed tobe fixed . Then again they were cleaning pools and repairing broken swings
and slides at our neighbor parks. Maybe after 11 months someone from parks and creation walked
around the play areas put in a work order and after 11 months it has been fixed. Who is the person
in charge of our city parks? Then again 11 months of no one in the parks department attempting to
fix this problem. Then again the play grounds are for the kids who have no transportation to leave
the area or a drivers license, maybe some kids have bikes. It's all about the KIDS. They have no
voice and can't vote or even write a coherent sentence. Maybe the parents and kids should pick up
the trash and bring it to the sixth floor. Maybe thenthese KIDS will get a clean play ground and park
to play football ,baseball, ride bikes, meet their friends, use skate boards, ice skate roller skate
and all the fun things KIDS get to do after school and on weekends.

Still a pig pen isn't it.
