Fine there's garbage there but what about the tree? Looks like it's been burnt. Usually there is an electric bike locked to that tree which belongs to an individual living above Asher Acupuncture. Don't know why they've been allowed to continue to lock up the bike there....I've seen prior complaints about this and the camera that hangs out the window above.

Maybe a nearby garbage can would help with the garbage... oh yeah, a bunch of them were removed.

Looking at the picture closely... That is not just a scene of garbage but the scene of bums throwing trash, stolen parts and burning trees...

Maybe we should also address the underlying issue of safety and the management or mismanagement of the neighborhood....

Ah hah! That guy had a point.... He knew that he needed to be vigilant because the city is going nowhere with issues....

I think though that he pointed his camera in the wrong direction or that he needs to buy a full 180° camera....

I have an honest idea.... He would get a smart WiFi camera and we could all hook up to it and take turns watching. 😀

We need a cleaner neighborhood and the city needs to enact the correct plan....

I live really close to the area and that guy needs a good camera because he sells some pretty awesome bikes (I've seen him bring out bEAUTIFUL GIANT bikes SPECIALIZED bikes out of his apartment....selling to cash buyers on the street......I've also seen people pull up with small trailers attached to bikes selling him all sorts of items like tools, drones etc etc...he's got a pretty lucrative business happening out of his place so really the camera is necessary for his bizz!! The ladies in the shop below are afraid to call the NWP! So the bikes locked to the tree are sadly just a small part of a bigger problem

Thank you for all your comments. The city arborist is in the process of assessing the health of the burnt tree, and will be making a decision as to whether or not it will be able to survive.

The tree is burnt because a bicycle with a 50 cc retrofit has engine caught fire. Maybe the city could instal a proper bike rack for these individuals.
