28th Street between San Pablo Avenue and Market Street. Homeless people living on this block for the last two years. I walk on the block and the smell of urine is nauseating. Both sides of the street need a thorough steam cleaning. And constant monitoring needs to happen to prevent the duplication of the situation in the future

After the lengthy closure process (almost 2 yrs.!), the City told local businesses THEY had to steam clean the streets & paint over the burnt out murals the kids had originally painted that were destroyed by 6 different tent fires.
OPWD: NO! YOU need to come & thoroughly steam clean our streets after the tent encampments — this is a PUBLIC HEALTH & SAFETY ISSUE that needs to be rectified immediately. High temps are only making the smell worse!
