I believe it! I wonder if it was the same short bus that tailed me down Chapel and made a right onto Wooster Square this am? Was it a Fist Student bus? They are notorious! When I have kids, I won't let them go to school here because of how those bus drivers speed all over town.

I had a similar experience on Orange--middle aged guy, ran a stop sign on a cross street and nearly hit me. I looked at him, bewildered, and he came to a stop.

I said, "Hey buddy, you gotta be careful", and he laughed, flipped me off, and yelled "GO F YOURSELF" (with a bus full of children).

I called First Student who were mortified, but I've since seen him driving buses around my neighborhood. I can't believe that a company would let a whack job like him drive children.

I tried to take a photo of another First Student driver who was just hanging out near Clifford Beers, in an illegal spot, with her engine running for about 15 minutes. She FREAKED out--she'd been giving a friend a ride there because she works there. She and the friend got in my face, yelling, angry. Apparently First Student does at least threaten them with dismissal if they are caught on SCF, so let's get as many of them breaking the law as we can...

These buses run by first student and all the other private bus mafia scam companies milking the city need to be watched and dealt with. I see them driving and talking on the phone sometimes, not that the cell phone law is ever enforced in New haven... these buses need cameras.
