There are many more location in Jersey city in need of these signs . especially on Summit Avenue because there are many many pedestrian accidents and car accidents due to pedestrians, not that the pedestrians are at fault it's that the driver fails to stop and not many people I see stop for crosswalks, and it bothers me a lot especially when there's a child crossing the street. For the past few years every time I saw a broken crosswalk sign I fixed it to the best of my ability and put it back in the street and if I see one on the sidewalk I do the same thing put it back in the street. It's so bad that sometimes I cut off traffic with my car which I know is illegal but is the only way to stop both way traffic to a lot of pedestrians to cross. I even printed out a sign and put it on the back of my van that reads stop for pedestrians and it's the law. That's to keep people from going around me when I stop which happens very often

Installing 4 way stop signs along Summit Ave would slow down traffic and make it safer for people pulling out from side streets. Palisades Ave in Union City has slowed down the traffic significantly with continuous 4 way stop signs.
