Good luck. Apparently the car must have missing or damaged parts that make it inoperable in order to get it towed. You better hope there is a registered owner to fine or reported as a theft or part of a crime, as these abandoned cars are considered a nuisance.

Parking Enforcement responded and tagged the listed silver Nissan on 10/15/19. On 10/22/19, the listed vehicle was still parked in same location and was cited for being parked longer than 72-hours. Under the new law, AB2876, this vehicle does not meet the community caretaking standards to have the vehicle towed.

You can bet if this vehicle was parked on a street where a city council person lived it would have been towed months ago no matter what AB2876 says. Is that a city ordinance or a state law?

I CONCUR... It’s just simply absurd the people are allowed to use the street for their broken down filthy skanky mobiles day and night for months on end with flat tires and cobwebs and writing in the filth!!! Saw the other day the owner go out and wipe off the windows of the little SUV. How about just moving the stupid thing !! Perhaps if either of the crappy cars were worth a dime they probably WOULD be towed where they could be RESOLD
