The parking in this area was recently updated and unofficial "stopping" room was removed. This are was often used for delivery trucks and ride share pick ups/drops offs, and now vehicles stop closer to the traffic lights, blocking the crosswalk and bike lane. A dedicated "2 minute" parking space in this area could be used for delivery drivers (lots of apartments nearby) and for ride share users (all 4 corners of intersection are currently used regularly but poorly for this and block all cross walks and bike lanes at various times). This would be a great place to experiment with a dedicated ride share "zone" (that could also be used by any other vehicle for activities that require stopping briefly)
