Complaint received about motorists not stopping at stop signs at Broadway and Bayview Drive.
This is happening because the street has been resurfaced but nobody has bothered to repaint the crosswalk and the STOP letters in the road. The actual Stop sign is way over to the right because it's such a wide road, and it's hard to see especially at night.
Until the city decide they feel like painting the street properly, I would avoid this intersection.
Too bad APD won't ever do anything since our corrupt chief Paul Rolleri lives in Danville and isn't concerned with any problems that only Alamedans have to worry about. If it doesnt affect him or his family over in Danville, he could care less. That means that Paul Rolleri doesn't care about any crime that happens in Alameda. He doesn't care
He doesn't care
He never did
He never will
go look up how much of your tax dollars this parasite $.uc.k.$ up each year, visit transparent california website and look him up in alameda city employees list
Paul Rolleri, our wonderful police chief who enforces a grand total of zero laws in Alameda and doesn't even live in Alameda, got paid $425,278.41 last year with your tax dollars
Read that again, let it sink in
p.s. our police chief paul rolleri recently offered to pay off the fines of a recycling thief that was finally cited for trespassing onto people's private properties in alameda for nearly 2 years straight, digging through their recycle bins, ripping open trash bags, tossing recyclables into the trash and dumping s*** all over the ground, stealing people's personal CRV bags that they were saving to redeem themselves, etc.
We reported the thief daily, every week for almost 2 years until they were finally cited by one of maybe 3 or 4 officers on the entire ALameda police force who actually give a d.*** about enforcing the law, only to have the chief Paul Rolleri personally offer some of his taxpayer-funded salary to help pay this thief's fines off so they can go right back to doing it again!
The issue on Broadway and Bayview Drive has been forwarded to our Traffic Division for follow up.
