This has been since 1982. It is one of the best examples of Social Darwinism and poor street engineering that I have ever seen.

To clarify: second the request for a four-way stop.

I walk my dogs by this intersection and drive through daily. Children frequently cross it. It needs a 4 way stop for safety.

I live one house away from this intersection. I also request this be a 4-way stop. I tell everyone to treat it that way now as I do. There is no reason for anyone to get hurt at this intersection in the middle of our neighborhood. I will fund the sign if that is an issue.

I would also suggest a "stop ahead" warning sign on the Lakepark Dr. east bound approach to the current stop sign. This is because the current stop is below a rise that makes that sign hard to see from a distance.
