Constant noise from new building being built to the east side. I think it is a Wawa going in. Management hid possible construction when signing lease. Even asked, was told wouldn’t happen for 2 years, not during my stay.

The construction site you are reporting is known to the City of Gainesville Department of Doing and construction type activity is permitted. The City of Gainesville Noise Ordinance (Chapter 15) allows construction to occur between the hours of 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Therefore, it appears the construction noise you are reporting is allowed by city ordinance.
Any issues regarding your lease is a civil matter. Legal counsel may be able to assist you but this is at your own discretion.
