Official word from the City re: sidewalk close at the Annex was:
"The exterior accessibility upgrades at the Annex plaza will not be substantially complete until 11/18, but we anticipate opening up both walkways to the front entrance, and potentially the sidewalk in the next week. The jersey barriers will remain in place until shortly before substantial completion on 11/18."

It's now December 2. Why is the sidewalk on Broadway still closed and the jersey barriers still in place? This is not just an inconvenience. It's a safety hazard for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.
