Description

Tall nasty weeds cover this left side curb from at least Jefferson St and Washington St on Fifth St. with mass Graffiti behind it as well (also reported). The weeds actually stretch beyond Washington St. They keep going to Broadway. The weeds are not only very unkept and disgusting to look at, they are also a danger to other drivers because in the wind (very light wind) they actually bend towards the street and the drivers driving on that lane are up against it, and usually drive very close to or inside of the next lane over to the right, making it dangerous to all drivers.

The weeds also obscure the curb where 2 roads meet (Jefferson St. & Fifth St.)
The problem with that is that because the physical road ALSO has an extreme dip passing Jefferson st, very abruptly drivers don't see the side of the gutter and usually react with extreme caution (they dangerously side swipe into the next lane over, by either inches or feet or fully). This has happened to me in the past and I have witnessed it happening.

Fixing the road dip is one thing, but if the weeds are not completely scraped off/dug up and removed, it remains a dangerous and disgusting looking anomaly.

There is also a very strange auditory anomaly that happens when you pass between Washington St. and Broadway against the left side fence covered tarp; The sound from your car or what ever is behind that tarp creates a sound that people can only describe as plastic bags whooshing in the wind, even when there is no wind. It's very distracting and quite annoying.

The weeds and tarpulin line an entire parking area for Police and other city vehicles among other things.
