At least 20 times a day, I see cars runh this stop sign. Thats just what I see when Im out walking my dog.
I have been asking for a rumble strip for many years. Cars come down the hill at 50+ mph, dont have time to stop, or refuse to stop. Last year we have a 5 car accident at that corner with life threatening injuries. Last month I saw a car run the stop sign, and side swipe a parked car.
I have also been out walking my dog and have had to sprint across the street to avoid speeding drivers who run the stop sign. I was also threatened with violence as I was picking up my dog to race to the other side. The car came back around (after running the stop sign) and threatened to run me over if they saw me walking across the street again. Fun times.
We have school kids who cross here daily, families with strollers, people walking dogs, older residents who need time crossing the street and kids on bikes. If there isn't a rumble strip added soon, we will have a fatality.

Do the petition you need 67% of folks signatures on your block. You'd be surprised to hear from your neighbors how they feel just like you do. You might even get an ear full of info of other people's grievances. I'm pretty confident your neighbors will thank you.
