We apologize for any inconvenience, the response to issue # 664984 should have stated that after review their is no need for a litter basket at this time.

There is definitly a need for a litter box there. There isn't one anywhere in that area, and there's contantly trash and dog poop all over the place!

I tend to agree. Can we reach out to St. Anne's and see if they would be willing to pay for it to better the community?

I walked my dogs around St Anne's this morning, and there was garbage everywhere. A garbage can would be greatly appreciated

I mentioned this issue to the Mayor on his radio show this morning. He promised to talk to DGS Commissioner about this.

Why is it such a big deal to put a new garbage can there? Do I need to keep calling Mayor's show to get this addressed?

I agree. This is ridiculous. It's not like we're asking for a new playground or anything that would require much planning or expense. It's just a garbage can. Maybe I should go to Home Depot and buy one for $20 and just put it there.

Well, how can we petition the city of deem one necessary? There is no garbage can anywhere in that area, and there is heavy foot traffic.

For anybody living in the area, it is EXTREMELY NEEDED. There is no litter basket anywhere in that area, and trash is thrown everywhere. This is absurd

so I guess Albany is just ignoring us now?
