A pedestrian wishing to cross from the NE corner to SE corner of South Street and Blount St cannot see any signals, pedestrian or vehicular, to indicate if it is safe to cross. This would be a very good place for a pedestrian signal, especially considering the volume of pedestrian traffic in the area.

Streetview from July 2019 shows some partial ped signal hardware on an older pole, with flagging around that pole and a new pole. Contractor/Utility company damages/destroys ped head while placing new pole, does not report? July 2018 Streetview, ped head was there.
